By applying this Dreamweaver extension you can force a file download and bypass the default behavior of opening the file in the browser (image file, PDF, Word or Excel document, web page file, mp3 or any other type of file).

In the extension dialog you can specify a physical path to the file (either relative or absolute path on the server) or select the file path value from a Data Source (a form variable or a Recordset field).

Dreamweaver Server Models: PHP (MySQL), ColdFusion, ASP.NET (VB), ASP VBScript	Browser compatibility: Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher Opera 7 Netscape 7 Safari Mozilla 1.6 and higher on both Windows and Linux Firefox 1.5 and higher on both Windows and Linux Konqueror
Dreamweaver compatibility: Dreamweaver MX 2004 Dreamweaver 8 Dreamweaver CS3 Dreamweaver CS4 Dreamweaver CS5 and CS5.5
